After 7 years and two E.P.s, Upstate NY synth-rock five-piece Haley Moley release their first full-length album “Everybody Wins” on 2/17/23. The band will host a celebratory record release show at The Hollow in Albany, NY on 2/18/23 with guests Natural Classics and Roost.World.

Two singles and videos precede the album release. First, “Deep Silence” is a tale of arrested development and neglect beneath the sheep’s clothing of uplifting jangly guitars and a boisterous pace. The hollered chorus harmonies both celebrate and accuse, in the multilayered tradition of The Smiths and The Cure.

“Amy” is a lush, old-fashioned torch song with an aching harmonies and ecstatic crescendo.

The ten songs that comprise “Everybody Wins” reflect the disparate influences upon the Haley Moley personnel, which include 80’s pop, electronic music, shoe-gaze, punk, and disco, and render the album refreshingly uncategorizable.

Haley Moley features Jennifer Maher Coleman (vocals, keys,) Paul Coleman (guitar,) Andrea Thorpe (keys, guitar,) Pat Thorpe (bass,) and Mike Broomhead (drums.) Together they make danceable, new-wave-tinged songs anchored by Jennifer Coleman’s wry lyrics.

Haley Moley combines the influences and talents of Jennifer Maher Coleman (vocals, keys,) Andrea Thorpe (keyboards,) Pat Thorpe (bass,) and Mike Broomhead (drums,) and Paul Coleman (guitar.) Jen, Andrea, Pat, and Mike all have history as house music DJ’s and Paul has had many varying rock and electronic projects. Together they make dense, danceable, new-wave-tinged songs anchored by Jennifer Coleman’s wry lyrics.
